Rachel is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. She began her CrossFit journey at CFER in 2014 after she became bored with doing the same routines in the overcrowded NYU gyms and as a supplement to her running. She fell in love with the supportive community that CrossFit has and loves the fact that every day is something different; there are always new goals to work toward.
Rachel has been active her whole life. She was a competitive gymnast for 12 years and was selected as an NCA All-American Cheerleader all 4 years of high school. When she’s not CrossFitting, Rachel enjoys training for half marathons and is always encouraging CFER members to sign up for races with her.
Her passion for fitness has lead her to want to encourage others to meet their full athletic potential. She believes working out doesn’t have to feel like ‘work,’ rather something that is fun and is something people look forward to incorporating into their daily routines. CrossFit has had such a positive impact on her life, and she wants it to have the same impact on others.
