How are we going to get STRONGER?
Beast River Weightlifting Club is a club for weightlifting-specific programming. Athletes will train at least 6 hours/week on Olympic lifts, squats and accessory movements to build strength, stability, flexibility and power in the snatch and clean & jerk.

Weightlifting itself is a very technical and challenging sport, both mentally and physically. This club is designed to be a team environment. The club will compete in meets both locally and beyond.

What’s it going to COST?
The Beast River Weightlifting Club is included with your CFER membership.
Not a current CFER member? Rates start as low as $175 for your first month. Get a membership here.

Can I still CROSSFIT?
No. Trust us, you’ll be working out plenty. You’ll need to commit a minimum of one month to the BRWC before returning to normal CrossFit WODs.

What else do I get?
Not satisfied with USAW-certified coaching, specialized programming, video analysis of lifts, performance tracking in WODIFY, a supportive environment and Eleiko barbells? You’ll also get access to CFER Open Gym hours and yoga.

When are we going to TRAIN? 

  • Monday, 830-10pm
  • Wednesday, 730pm-830pm
  • Thursday, 830pm-10pm
  • Sunday, 1215-130pm

Is this REALLY for ME?
Are you a sport-specific athlete already using Olympic weightlifting in your training? This program will greatly benefit you and help you build explosive power, strength and speed.

Are you a CrossFitter who feels like he/she has hit a plateau? You might want to spend 1-2 (or more!) months focusing on getting stronger. The BRWC will greatly improve your squat and overall strength, power and speed, allowing you to come back to CrossFit and take it to the next level. Conditioning can be built quickly, but strength takes a lifetime to achieve.

Are you a weightlifter? This program is ideal for you, as you probably only want to weightlift and get better at it! The club will compete in meets and provide continued seminars, as well as build a discussion forum for support through training.
